Jaclyn N. Lazzaro

Ms. Lazzaro is an associate at McOmber & McOmber, P.C. and a lifelong resident of Mercer County. Ms. Lazzaro’s primary areas of practice are employment law, personal injury, and civil litigation.

Ms. Lazzaro has experience litigating personal injury claims including slip and fall accidents, assaults, and other accidents involving negligence. She pursues personal injury claims by conducting prompt and thorough investigations, consulting with the highest caliber of liability and medical experts, and dedicating focused attention to each matter. Ms. Lazzaro also provides clients with guidance in general civil litigation. She advises and represents clients in civil disputes regarding contract matters, property disputes, municipal disputes and tort claims.

As an employment attorney and member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Ms. Lazzaro has experience litigating employment matters on behalf of both employees and employers. Ms. Lazzaro believes that all workplaces should be free of discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, and other such violations. To that end, Ms. Lazzaro has litigated favorably on behalf of plaintiffs in employment discrimination cases.

Ms. Lazzaro graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where she earned a Bachelor of Arts/Law Degree and participated in the Three Year Arts/Law program, which allowed her to graduate college and law school in five years.  Ms. Lazzaro was a member of the Division I Cross Country, Indoor Track & Field, and Outdoor Track & Field teams at the University of Maryland. Ms. Lazzaro placed in the top 75 female runners at the ACC Cross Country Championships, and ran the 5k and 10k track events.

Ms. Lazzaro graduated cum laude from Rutgers Law School – Camden and earned a Juris Doctor degree. During law school, Ms. Lazzaro was a member of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy. Ms. Lazzaro wrote her journal article on the evolving status of affordable housing legislation in the State of New Jersey.  Additionally, over spring break of her 2L year, Ms. Lazzaro travelled to South Africa with a group of Rutgers Law School students and faculty to observe the constitutional, health, and societal issues affecting the newly formed democratic society.

Ms. Lazzaro was raised in Robbinsville, New Jersey a small, close-knit, township in Central Jersey.  While attending Robbinsville High School, Ms. Lazzaro earned twelve varsity letters and was a New Jersey State Champion in both Cross Country and Softball. In addition to running, Ms. Lazzaro has a lifelong passion for travel, as she has visited over twenty-two countries including: Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Vatican, Monaco, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, South Africa, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and throughout the United States.
