Amazon Warehouse Dismissed Pervasive Sexual Harassment Against Female Employees

Amazon had actual knowledge of severe and pervasive sexual harassment of two of its female employees by the same male employee, who was an Amazon Learning Ambassador who was supposed to “set the tone” and be the “first impression of Amazon.”  But, as alleged in the Complaint filed in New Jersey Superior Court in Burlington County, the Defendant-harasser made sexual remarks about masturbation, sexual penetration, and buttock-biting and even chased one Plaintiff in a work vehicle in the warehouse.  When this alleged misconduct was brought to Amazon, its female HR manager dismissively responded that she was too busy during Amazon Prime Week to address the issue.  Plaintiffs bring this lawsuit under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination to redress the sexual misconduct and the gross mishandling by Amazon.
