Our law firm was originally founded by Richard D. McOmber and Adrienne Haroutunian McOmber in 1974. Their first office was located on Front Street in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Richard grew up in Toms River, New Jersey and attended Wheaton College (IL) where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon graduation from Wheaton, he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves through its ROTC program and was designated a Distinguished Military Graduate. He received a deferment from active-duty service to attend Rutgers University School of Law in Newark.

Adrienne grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and attended Cornell University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. After college, she also became a student at Rutgers University School of Law. She was one of the very small number of women attending law school at that time.
