Partners Matthew A. Luber and Christian V. McOmber represent client Kimberly North in a sexual harassment case against Erik M. Krise Electrical Contractors. The complaint, which was filed on December 13, 2019, in Camden County Superior Court, alleges Ms. North was subjected to unlawful touching, sexually explicit conduct and text messages, and retaliation on almost a daily basis. Ms. North claims that the company project manager, Defendant Dru DiSilvestro, sexually harassed her, and other women in the office, for years. She alleges management not only was aware of the conduct but openly encouraged and even participated in the behavior.
In fact, Eric M. Krise Electrical Contractors was sued earlier this year by three other female employees who raised similar allegations against Mr. DiSilvestro and the company. Despite being fully aware of Mr. DiSilvestro’s egregious sexual harassment, the allegations brought by the other women, and video evidence of Mr. DiSilvestro making blatantly discriminatory remarks about women, Ms. North alleges the company failed to protect her from continuing harassment and somehow allowed Mr. DiSilvestro to remain employed with the company.
“We are very proud of Ms. North for her courage in bringing the alleged conduct to light. She looks forward to her day in court.” Matthew A. Luber, Partner, McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C.
