McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. is pleased to announce that Austin B. Tobin, Esquire has been elevated to Partner, effective January 9, 2024.
Since joining McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. as an Associate in April 2018, Mr. Tobin’s primary areas of practice have been employment law and civil litigation. Mr. Tobin actively litigates in all areas of employment law, including but not limited to, matters involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination as well as non-compete, whistleblower, and wage and hour actions. As an employment attorney, Mr. Tobin has extensive experience litigating employment matters on behalf of employees throughout the State of New Jersey. Mr. Tobin has litigated favorably on behalf of employees in many employment discrimination and wrongful termination cases. In addition, Mr. Tobin also has a significant background in personal injury litigation. He has represented injured clients who have sustained severe and permanent personal injury as a result of motor vehicle or fall-down accidents and negotiated favorable settlements on their behalf.
Prior to joining McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., Mr. Tobin gained valuable experience defending employment matters on behalf of employers throughout the State of New Jersey. This unique background allows Mr. Tobin to be a zealous and effective advocate on behalf of employees who have been wronged by their employers. Mr. Tobin has a true passion for law and advocacy and applies that drive to litigation on behalf of plaintiffs in employment matters.
Mr. Tobin is a magna cum laude graduate of New York University (2005) and holds a J.D. law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law (2009). Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Tobin was a law clerk to the Honorable Dennis F. Carey, III, P.J.CV. at the Essex County Superior Court, who served as Essex Vicinage Civil Presiding Judge for seven (7) years.
Mr. Tobin currently lives in Howell, New Jersey and will continue working out of the firm’s Red Bank, New Jersey location. He is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
