Biography
Mr. Fechter is an associate with McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. in the firm’s Newark, New Jersey office. Mr. Fechter primarily focuses his practice in employment law and civil litigation, representing clients in matters involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims.
Prior to joining McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., Mr. Fechter developed an interest in litigation and employment law while working as a law clerk for Hall Booth Smith, P.C., where Mr. Fechter assisted attorneys in all aspects of civil litigation. In 2018, Mr. Fechter honed his legal research and writing skills as a law clerk with the Essex County Prosecutor’s office and developed a passion for advocacy in observing and assisting prosecutors in court.
With an interest in litigation and employment law, in 2019 Mr. Fechter joined McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. as a law clerk in their Red Bank office, where Mr. Fechter gained invaluable experience into the litigation process and serving clients in employment matters.
Mr. Fechter graduated from Davidson College in 2017, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in History. He earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2021. Mr. Fechter was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 2021.
